Alan Guffey

Alan is a high school history teacher in Hillsboro, Oregon.

He studied history at Westmont College, earned a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, and his Master of Arts in Teaching from Lewis and Clark College. For ten years Alan was a Presbyterian Youth Pastor and he has also been an aspiring writer of children's books.  He enjoys running, reading history, building sand castles in Maine, family slumber parties, and being a soccer dad.
