Bob King
Robert King is a business and philanthropic entrepreneur.
He is the founder and former President of R. Eliot King & Associates, Inc., an investment management company.
Bob is an active venture investor in U.S. and international companies through his firm, Peninsula Capital.
In addition to his active role in Thrive Foundation for Youth, Bob is a past active Elder of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. For many years, he also served on the Board of Village Enterprise Fund, an organization established to help create micro enterprises in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Bob is also a trustee of the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust.
Bob did his undergraduate work at Dartmouth College where he earned a BA in Economics and his graduate work at Stanford University where he earned his MBA.
Bob and his wife, Dottie, spend time in Menlo Park, California and Kennebunkport, Maine. His personal interests include his six kids and his eight grandchildren. He also is an avid golfer. |
