Julie Warren
General Manager

Julie Warren is the General Manager of Thrive Foundation For Youth. Julie's career began in the for -profit sector, working for seven years at Visa International. From the beginning of her tenure at Visa, Julie's relationship and project management skills were critical to her success as an Analyst and Program Manager within the Risk Management Division . She especially enjoyed leading cross-functional teams comprised of people from regional offices in countries all over the world. This talent, as well as her strong leadership skills, were expressed in her later role as a Director in the International Member Briefing Center.

Having noticed the unexpected joy of serving on Visa's Corporate Philanthropy Board , Julie made a career change, choosing to work for the advancement of youth in the not-for-profit sector. She became Associate Director of the Annual Campaign for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, located in East Menlo Park. She later served as the Development Director of the Bay Area non-profit For Youth By Youth, a program that focuses on the advancement of urban youth and community development.

Julie has a B.A. in History from the University of California at Davis. She is an elder at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, serving as the Chair of Adult Ministries. Julie enjoys waterskiing, rollerblading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
