thrivingRecent practice grants support these organizations to embed Step-It-Up-2-Thrive in their programs:

4-H, California
A $1.41 million grant, over five years, to grow 4-H’s professional development for 23,000 volunteers, and measure youth impact, framed by the Step-It-Up-2-Thrive theory of change.

Live In Peace
A $25,000 grant to record the Live In Peace curriculum for youth living in tough environments, and embed thriving concepts in that curriculum.

Friends of the Children
A $1 million grant, over five years, to participate in an NIH study measuring mentor impact on some of the most disadvantaged youth in America. Six national chapters are supported to adopt the full Step-It-Up-2-Thrive process for all youth ages 10-17.

Positive Coaching Alliance
A $1 million grant, over four years, to expand the Triple Impact Competitor framework and measurement of impact across the national Positive Coaching Alliance model.

Sequoia Union High School District
Two years of funding, at $280k, to redesign the summer Compass program for entering 9th graders performing two or more years below grade level. The redesign incorporates recent research on brain development and thriving.

Quaglia Institute
Three years of funding, at $150k, to support the Quaglia Institute work to grow student aspiration in schools. Funding is earmarked for an alternative school and comprehensive school at Sequoia Union High School District in Redwood City, California.
