Sonia Koshy
Evaluation Specialist
Sonia Koshy is an Evaluation Specialist for Thrive Foundation for Youth. She graduated with a doctoral degree in Applied Child Development from the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Development at Tufts University. During her graduate program, she explored the role of spirituality on the growth of purpose, generosity, and psychological health in adolescence. Specifically, Sonia's interests revolve around the importance of social support and purpose in character development.
Sonia's favorite part of the research process is exploring what youth say about their lives. As a way to stay more connected to students during her program, she was a teaching assistant and lecturer for undergraduates, in various introductory child development courses.
During her free time, Sonia enjoys cooking/baking and traveling. When you don't find her at home, you can be certain she's probably on a flight to Boston where her family lives. Sonia loves international travel and is always looking for a new country to explore with her husband.
