thrivingThrive Foundation honors the founding family core values. In the words of the founders, these values are:

Joy: Taking time to simply have fun together is important to us. We believe in not taking ourselves too seriously.

We appreciate both the mystery and complexity of life. Sharing our gifts which eases others' challenges brings us great joy.

Learning: We enjoy an ongoing process of learning, the exchange of good ideas, and a systemic view of the world and of human beings.

Embracing Change: A family strength has been a willingness to change. A business strength has been the attention to change as it provides opportunities for investment and entrepreneurial endeavors. We are mindful of change as leverage, and at the core, there is a spirit of optimism.

Results: We try to find ways to describe and measure results. We always ask: "What result in the lives of young people will take place from our support of an organization?" We seek for rigor and excellence, and we look for ways to maximize results to enable young people to do what? To thrive.

Integrity: Trust is fundamental to healthy relationships. We seek to be moral, fair, and honest, to be people that others can trust, to have good and growing self-awareness, to show respect for the individual and a concern for the good of the entire organization with whom we are engaged.

Hospitality: Hospitality is a significant part of our family heritage. Warmth, attention to details, care for those who are strangers, for those who are suffering, and for the whole person...these values guide our foundation.

Grace: Again and again, grace transforms and gives each of us new life.

Our faith helps us know that we are accepted, loved unconditionally, and allowed to not have to be perfect. When we think we have to fix things, when we are too hard on one another or ourselves, we need to remember to let go and let God renew our spirits.

Grace has enabled us to focus us on loving, living freely, and responding to people with a sense of gratitude.
